Apprenticeships / NVQ

kidsunlimited is committed to the development of all our staff and is working in partnership with recognised training providers to offer Apprenticeships and NVQ’s to all eligible employees.

Funding is subject to availability for all of these programmes.

Foundation Degree / Degrees

kidsunlimited will support employees who are keen to undertake a foundation degree / degree in Early Years with the intention of achieving Early Years Professional Status.  These courses are accessed locally to enable flexibility with the learning and allow employees to work with other like minded individuals.

Funding is subject to availability.

Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)

Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) ensures that those working with children under the age of five benefit from the highest level of training. EYPs support the nursery in giving the children brighter futures whilst inspiring others to give all children the start in life they deserve.

In order to be eligible for this training you need to have successfully achieved a degree, kidsunlimited will then support you in applying for the relevant pathway with a local provider.

Training opportunities

kidsunlimited is committed to supporting the development of staff at all levels by offering bespoke training, specifically developed for the nurseries.  There is a broad range of training opportunities designed to meet the needs and aspirations of staff whilst ensuring we meet the needs of the children we care for.  A sample of these, are contained below and include:

13 Week Induction Programme

• Skills / competency based for each specific job role
• Provides underpinning knowledge / guidance to fulfill role
• Allocated a mentor to offer the relevant guidance and support
• Validated through monthly performance reviews
