Where is the on-line application form?
On clicking on a vacancy you will be given the option to complete an online application form. To view all current vacancies click here.
Am I able to send you a CV?
Yes, please use the on-line application process and you can attach your CV to your application.
Can an application form be sent to my home address?
Yes, please email your name, home address and details of the vacancy you are applying for and an application pack will be sent to your home address.
How will I know if you are dealing with my application?
Unfortunately, due to the volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to each application individually. If your application is successful, the recruiting manager will normally contact you within 3 weeks to arrange a time and date for interview. If you have had no contact from kidsunlimited within 4 weeks you may assume your application has been unsuccessful.
What is the application process?
On receipt of your application, you will be shortlisted against the criteria for the role. If successful, you will be invited to attend an interview and this may include additional selection tests that will be applicable to the role for which you are applying for.
I can’t find any opportunities at the location I want. Why is that?
If you are unable to find any opportunities listed against the nursery or area you would like to work, it is likely that there are no current vacancies. We may however require relief staff so please submit an application stating the nursery you would prefer.
I don’t have any nursery qualifications, can I apply for a position?
If you do not have any relevant childcare qualifications, you may apply for a Nursery Assistant vacancy or relief work at one of our nurseries. If successful, on completion of your probationary period you will have access to one of our training programmes.
I want to become a qualified Nursery Nurse. Can kidsunlimited support me with this?
Yes. We currently work in partnership with an external training provider, JHP, who will undertake your training with you to ensue that you attain the relevant nationally recognised qualifications.
Do you have an apprenticeship programme?
Yes. We offer tailored apprenticeship programmes, if invited to an interview you will have the opportunity to discuss this in more detail.
What qualities do you look for in applicants?
It is essential that all applicants have the necessary skills and knowledge applicable to the role together with the drive and ambition to excel in their area of work.
