Egg hatching

For 21 days we have been looking after eggs in an incubator! Staff have thoroughly enjoyed listening to Pre-school children correct their parents when they have said that “there are chicks in the eggs“ — children have correctly told their parents that at this point they are embryos! Finally on the 14th June our eggs hatched! The Toddlers and Pre-school children were very excited watching cracks appear in the eggs and patiently waiting for them to hatch…

Our nursery toy Gruffalo had a very exciting adventure with Annabel and her family when they went travelling to Denmark for the weekend! The Gruffalo and Annabel went on an aeroplane to see an open air puppet show and they also went on a train and to a restaurant for dinner…
